Statewide salmon harvest at 32.3 million fish, 27 percent of the commercial-comparable preseason forecast. Bristol Bay sockeye leads at 71 percent of its in-area forecast, with Southeast chum more than doubling on the week.

Bristol Bay Sockeye Crosses 50 Percent of Forecast
Statewide sockeye harvest stands at 21.4 million fish, 49 percent of the 44.1 million fish commercial-comparable sockeye forecast. Bristol Bay leads the district scoreboard at 54 percent with 17.3 million fish on the Blue Sheet.
